# How do I change the background layer of a map?

Click on the 'Change background layer' button in the bottom-left corner of the map. This will bring up the following options:

* ****Blank****: removes all background layers

* ****Dark****: displays background in a dark format

* ****Light****: displays background in a light format

* ****Satellite****: displays a satellite image

* ****Streets****: displays streets and major landmarks
