# How do I edit a chart query in a dashboard?

To edit the query of any visualization in a dashboard:

1. Click on the three dots icon located at the top right corner of the chart. A menu appears.
2. Click on ‘Edit chart.’

This opens a menu where you’ve a sidebar where you can make changes to the underlying query. When done with your changes, click on the ‘Save Changes’ at the top right corner of the screen. This will ensure the changes you just made are saved.
