# How to send documents by e-mail

1. Open your email (such as Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
2. Create a **new email**.

4. Attach one or more documents in **PDF format** that you want to upload to haddock.

2. Select the files you want to upload.

4. Send the email.
5. After 5 minutes the document will be in the "digitising" queue.
