If you need to create a copy of an existing rubric, here's a quick way to do it. Start by selecting _Create Rubric_ and choose the option to create a new rubric using a template.

## Creating a Duplicate

- **Choose Your Rubric**
Pick the rubric you want to copy, such as _Grade 12 English_.
- **Rename for Clarity**
Change the name to something like "Version 2" so it’s easy to tell apart from the original.
- **Create the Copy**
Click _Create Rubric_, and you’ll have a duplicate of your original rubric.

## Editing the New Version

- **Make Changes**
If you want _Version 2_ to be different, just click _Edit Rubric_ and modify it however you need.
- **Save and Use**
After making changes, save your updated rubric. Version 2 will now reflect your modifications while keeping the original intact.

This simple process allows you to easily create and customize new versions of your rubrics without altering the original. It’s perfect for maintaining consistency while allowing flexibility in your assessments.
