# How do I delete a rubric?

This video walks you through the straightforward steps to delete a rubric from your rubric section. We explain how to access the rubric you want to delete and where to find the edit button.

**Step 1:** Under the rubrics section, click on the **name** of the rubric you want to delete.

**Step 2:** Navigate to the bottom of the page and click the **Delete** button.

**Step 3:** Note this is permanent! A confirmation notice will appear. If you want to go ahead with deleting the rubric, click on the **Delete** button again.

**Step 4:** You will be redirected back to the Rubrics page and the rubric you just deleted will no longer exist in your library of rubrics.
