# How do I run AI detection on an essay I have submitted for grading?

This video walks you through the AI detection feature in EssayGrader. We demonstrate how to access your dashboard and view the AI detection results for your uploaded essays. It's important to note that the detector may indicate low confidence in authorship, which could impact your grading.

* When you upload an essay, AI detection is automatically run.

* Under Essays, you can see your dashboard of all the previous uploaded essays you've submitted to EssayGrader for grading. And then you can click on the individual essay.

* You'll have your tabs, the feedback report, the writing report, the AI detection, and comments. If you click on AI detection, it's already run.

* Our detector provides a confidence level that the text is written by the student. In the video, you can see the likelihood that was used when creating the essay, which is low confidence in this video example.
