# How can I change the chatbox background?

Looking to make things more colored and playful? Crisp of course allows you to choose your chatbox background, and add patterns

****Here is how to proceed:****

* Go to your [Crisp dashboard](https://app.crisp.chat)
* Head over to the ****Settings**** from the bottom-left icon
* Navigate to ****Settings > Chatbox Settings > Chatbox Appearance****
* Select your favorite pattern from the ****Chatbox background**** dropdown
