# How do I change my Captivate password?

Changing your Captivate password is nice and easy once you're logged in.

To change your password:

* Log in to your Captivate dashboard.
* Click on your name, in the top right hand corner of the dashboard.
* Click __My Account__ from the drop down menu.
* Click __Password__ on the left hand side menu.
* Enter your current password.
* Enter your new password.

_****Remember, passwords must:****_

* __Be 8-20 characters long__
* __Contain at least 1 uppercase letter__
* __Contain at least 1 lowercase letter__
* __Include at least 1 number__
* __Not contain any spaces or emojis__

* Confirm your new password.
* Click __Save Changes__.
