# How do I delete a rubric?

This video walks you through the straightforward steps to delete a rubric from your rubric section. We explain how to access the rubric you want to delete and where to find the edit button.

****Step 1:**** Under the rubrics section, click on the ****name**** of the rubric you want to delete.

****Step 2:**** Navigate to the bottom of the page and click the ****Delete**** button.

****Step 3:**** Note this is permanent! A confirmation notice will appear. If you want to go ahead with deleting the rubric, click on the ****Delete**** button again.

****Step 4:**** You will be redirected back to the Rubrics page and the rubric you just deleted will no longer exist in your library of rubrics.
