# How to convert Youtube shorts to display in your listings

Adding a YouTube video to your listing is a great way to engage potential candidates, and there is now a way to convert your YouTube short link to a regular URL so it displays correctly🤩

**What is a YouTube short?** YouTube Shorts are defined as vertical or square videos up to 60 seconds long.

**Step 1:** **Create your video and upload it to YouTube** (If your video is longer than 60 seconds, [click here](https://support.carefriends.co.uk/en/articles/4280599-editing-a-job) to learn how to add this to your existing jobs)

**Step 2:** Open the video, click play and then **right-click** on the video whilst it’s playing

**Step 3:** Select **‘copy video URL’**

**Step 4: Paste** the URL into the search bar at the top of your screen.

**Step 5:** The video will now play as a regular YouTube video, simply **copy** the new URL from the search bar.

**Step 6:** Next, head to the listings tab and either select the **3 dot menu icon** for that advert and click **edit listing**, or click **add a new listing**, and when ready, paste this URL on page 3: **Description and media.**

**Step 5:** Complete the remaining fields and click **finish.**

**💡Top Tip!** The video will only display when a listing is shared, and the link is opened and viewed from the share link. It will not appear when viewing them in the app.
