# How to hide the chat on specific countries

Crisp allows you to hide the chatbox for some countries.

****Here is how to proceed:****

* Go to your [Crisp dashboard](https://app.crisp.chat)
* Head over to the ****Settings**** from the bottom-left icon
* Navigate to ****Settings > Chatbox Settings > Chatbox Restrictions > Hide chatbox for countries****
* Click on the ****Add a blocked country**** button and select the countries to block

The chat will be blocked then for those countries.
