# I lost my password. How can I recover my account?

You can recover your password directly from the Crisp app. This article helps you recover your account and change your password.

1. Go to the Password recovery page: [https://app.crisp.chat/initiate/recover/](https://app.crisp.chat/initiate/recover/)

2. Check your emails. Once you submit the password recovery form, we'll send you an email with a temporary password.

****Note: if you don't receive the email, check your spam folder. The password is temporary and won't last long.****

3. Set a new password once you have logged in.

Use this temporary password to login to the app and head over to Settings > Account > Account Information  
A section "Security" at the bottom contains a button to redefine a new password
