# Manually embedding the Captivate podcast player on your custom website

We designed the Captivate embeddable podcast player to look amazing on any website, on any screen. But, we also made it really, really easy to embed, too with web standard embed codes and oEmbed compatibility.

_****Do you have a WordPress website?****_

Captivate Sync™ is Captivate's free WordPress podcasting plugin that allows you to easily link your WordPress website to your Captivate podcast hosting account, and seamlessly publish from one platform to the other whilst keeping everything synchronised. ****To manually embed the single episode Captivate podcast player on your custom website:****

* Log in to your Captivate dashboard.
* Click __Episodes__ from the left hand menu under the __Content Management__ section.
* Click the __Share__ icon at the side of the episode you want to share.
* A new window will open, click __Copy__ on the __Embed on your website__ section.

The embed code is now copied to your clipboard ready to paste into the HTML editor within your website platform. It's that easy!

* A new window will open, click __Copy__ on the __Paste this link into your social posts__ section.
