Open the F: Generate Barcode app. Click on the **Create Campaign** button, and click on **Barcode Number**. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/fe76bf61edafc800/92ef39da-cf74-4d6b-8be4-506221_tagyha.png) There are four different ways to create barcodes: ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/9f010ec2035ff000/6fc8e858-8a6f-496d-9dec-8fe36f_5or11u.png) **1.  Generated Barcode:** This feature generates a unique system-generated Barcode ID for each product. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/211202d130d08c00/9dfce46a-f569-441d-80bd-274151_1pk3ffv.png) _Barcode Length_: You can decide the length of the Barcode number here, with a default length of 6. _Barcode character format_: Choose the format characters to be used for the barcode. In Advanced section :- _Overwrite duplicate barcodes_: This feature detects duplicated barcodes and replaces them in your products. If there are no duplicate or repeating barcodes, no changes will be applied. _Overwrite existing barcodes:_ Only use this feature if you want to remove the existing barcodes for products and create new ones for them. After replacing the barcode number, it cannot be undone. _Use_ _Abbreviations_: You can incorporate references to product names or inventory management names in your barcodes. The first six letters will be added to your barcode if you check any of the two options. **2. If there are no duplicate or repeating barcodes, no changes will be applied. _Use Abbreviations_ : You can incorporate references to product names or inventory management names in your barcodes. The first six letters will be added to your barcode if you check any of the two options. _Prefix_: Add the data that should appear at the beginning of the Barcode Number. _Body_: The number displayed in the Barcode ID. It will increment by one digit for each ID. For example, if it starts at zero, it will be one for the next ID, three for the next, and so on. You can choose the initial number. _Suffix_: Add the data that should be visible at the end of the Barcode Number. _Separator_: This value will be added between all the other values you have assigned before. _Barcode character format_: Choose the format characters to be used for the barcode. In Advanced section :- _Overwrite duplicate barcodes_: This feature detects duplicated barcodes and replaces them in your products. If there are no duplicate or repeating barcodes, no changes will be applied. _Overwrite existing barcodes:_ Only use this feature if you want to remove the existing barcodes for products and create new ones for them. If there are no duplicate or repeating barcodes, no changes will be applied. _Overwrite existing barcodes:_ Only use this feature if you want to remove the existing barcodes for products and create new ones for them. After replacing the barcode number, it cannot be undone. _ **4. Select the products for which you want to create barcodes and click **Add**. 7. You can preview the created Barcodes with the selected products. Please note that this is for preview purposes only, and they are not added to the products in your store.
