Creating products in bulk
There are two ways to load products to Handy: either individually or through a template in *bulk*. This article focuses on how to load products in bulk.
Loading products in bulk
In Handy's web portal, go to the *Menu* and select *Products*. In this screen, you'll see your enabled products. Click on the *Add **product button, which will show two options. Click on **Add product with Excel template*.

Handy will give you the option to download a template (a file in Excel format), which you'll need to download to load your products in bulk.
In the first step of the bulk data upload/update process, you can choose to download the template either empty or with your current products. You can also choose to download disabled products. Once you’ve made your selection, click the *Download Template* button.

A few moments later, Handy will notify you that your data is ready. Click on *Download* to get this data.

Now, you have a template where you can add or update your product information, as needed.
Click on the button *I have a template* to continue. In this next screen, we'll remind you of the mandatory fields needed in the template. Click on *Continue*.
Open the template in Excel and add your new products or modify existing ones.
Also, make sure to indicate YES in the desired fields. If you don't write YES, empty fields will be automatically filled in as NO:
- Enabled
- Apply discount
Save the template file and go back to Handy.
In Step 2, you'll need to select the template file you just filled in.

Click on the dashed box and select the file you just saved. Once you've selected the file, Handy will analyze the file's content and make sure all information is correct. This might take a few minutes, depending on how many products are in your template.

Handy will let you know if it finds any errors.

If any errors are found, click on *Download errors*. Open the file and you'll find that the rows where the error is located have been marked in red. In the last column on the right, you'll see a message indicating what the error is.
Correct the error and download the corrected template. Upload the file again in Handy. Now that there are no errors, Handy will show you a summary of the data you're about to import.

It's important to note that your products have not been uploaded yet. This was just an analysis of how your products will be changed or affected. It's not until you click on *Apply* that the changes are made. This process can also take a few minutes.
Done! You've finished uploading your products in bulk. You can create or update as many products as you need using this method.
