Edit and delete payments

To edit or delete a payment, you can use either the mobile app or the web portal. In this article, we'll show you how to do both. Please note that any changes you make to payments will automatically update the client's balance.


From the web portal

Go to the *Collections Report*, apply the necessary filters to help you find the specific payment you want to edit or delete, then click on the payment's *"View details"*:



In this screen, you'll see the payment's details, along with the options to *Edit* or *Delete*. When clicking on Edit, you’ll be able to modify the quantity, comment, and reference. Click Save to apply any changes.



This feature works just like when editing an order, meaning that when you edit a payment, the original is deleted and a new one is created with the changes you made.


From the mobile app


When clicking on the *Activity* tab, select *Payments*, then click on *More*, which will let you view the payment details:



In the upper part of the screen, you'll see the options to *Delete* or *Edit* the payment:



Where can I see the changes I made?


All changes made can be found on the client's history and can be viewed whenever.
