How do I filter on a dashboard?

The ‘Add Dashboard Filter’ functionality at the left top of your screen allows you to have filters appear on a left pane. This is useful for dashboards where you expect filters to be more actively used and deserving of more prominence.

The dashboard group by allows you to add a dashboard-wide group by control so dashboard viewers can adjust the aggregation for all visualizations on the dashboard.
