What is a role?

A role is a position a user is assigned to on the platform based on the permissions they should be assigned on the platform in terms of data access and use.

Defining the roles of users on the platform helps to replicate the existing roles of the organisation, and provide a platform to create additional roles for optimal analytics and data driven decision making.
