  • How do I export a map?
    There are two options for exporting maps. The first is to add a map to a dashboard, where it will automatically update when new entity data is added. To add your map to a dashboard, click on the ‘Export’ button at the bottom right of the left panel, then click on ‘+ Add to Dashboard’. A dialogue box opens. If you want to create a new dashboard and add the visualization to it, click ‘Create Dashboard.’ If you want to add the visualization to an existing dashboard, explore ‘My Dashboards’ or ‘OthePak lexues
  • What is the Map Builder?
    The Map Builder is a standalone tool developed to enable more advanced mapping use cases. In particular, the tool enables users to create custom maps by plotting multiple entities of interest such as hospitals, schools and other facilities in an area of interest. Users can do this by adding multiple layers to a map such as entity layers or indicator layers. It also provides users with the ability to customize the style of data displayed on the map.   • How do I show administrative boundaries on a map?
    Click on the 'Change settings' cog in the bottom-left corner of the map. This will bring up the 'Show administrative boundaries' setting, which can be turned on and off. The level of administrative boundary to be displayed, e.g. Province or District can also be specified.Pak lexues
  • How do I move the map legend?
    Click on the 'Change settings' cog in the bottom-left corner of the map. This will bring up the 'Legend position' setting and the dropdown can be used to move the legend to another corner of the map. This is useful when the default legend position is covering important entities and needs to be moved.Pak lexues
  • How do I export a map’s layer data?
    The Map Builder allows you to export the map’s layer data into Excel. Depending on the entity data integrated, this may include information such as geographical district, entity name, address, telephone number, etc. To export this data to Excel, click on the ‘Export’ button at the bottom right of the left panel, then click on the ‘Download data’ tab.   • How do I change the background layer of a map?
    Click on the 'Change background layer' button in the bottom-left corner of the map.   • How do I customize the look of my map?
    Click on the heading in the layer box in the left panel of the screen. This will open the ‘Editing Layer’ options Within the ‘Editing Layer’, the following customization options are available: Select Dimension: if there are multiple entity types integrated into the map, use this setting to easily change the dimension type being visualized on the map.   • How do I add entities?
    If entity datasets have been integrated into your platform, then you will be able to add entity layers to your map in the following way: Begin by finding your region of interest. This can be done by typing in a physical address in the search bar (top-right corner of the map) or by using the ‘zoom-in’ and ‘zoom-out’ buttons in the bottom-left corner. On the left panel of the screen, select ' + NEW LAYER ' From the dropdown list, select ‘Entity Layers’ and from the subsequent drop downPak lexues
  • How do I filter for specific entities?
    In certain situations, you may be interested in filtering for specific entity-types on the map, e.g. the locations of all hospitals in a certain district. To filter for specific entities: Click on the ' Add + ' button in the entity layer box in the left panel of the screen.
