Best practices for conducting a pilot test

Implementing a new system in your operation is always a challenge. We recommend starting small, making the necessary adjustments, and then applying changes to the team.

We recommend starting with a *pilot test with two users*. Having two users creates a sense of competition and gives you two different opinions and experiences.

Our advice is:

  • Choose your *two best users*.
  • Choose your youngest users who are most familiar with using *new technology*.
  • Run the pilot test for *two weeks*, so you have enough information to analyze.
  • Create a *group chat* with those two users to stay in constant communication with them.
  • Check your *daily summary* every day to ensure your users are actually using the app.

We recommend starting small, then implementing more processes as the days pass. A possible schedule can be:

  • Day 1: Install Handy and log in.
  • Days 2-5: Register clients and log visits.
  • Days 6-10: Now that they're familiar with the app, try using other features like creating orders, completing forms, or creating inventory.

You can always send us a message in the chat if you have any questions!
