Implementation guide

In Handy, we know that the hardest part of implementing a new system is ensuring people fully understand it and use it correctly. That's why we've created this implementation guide that will take you step by step through the simplest way to implement Handy, so you can learn everything Handy can do for your company.

We'll divide the process into two: preparation and operation

Preparation

  • Define client zones and categories. (Details)
  • Define product families and categories. (Details)
  • Create/load products. (Details)
  • Create/load clients. (Details)
  • Define which users will be assigned to which zones; this way, users will only focus on their assigned zones and clients.
  • Create/load salespeople, or mobile users, as we call them in Handy. (Details)
  • Define and create price lists. (Details)
  • Assign price lists to clients. Edit each client and assign them a price list. You can also assign clients a price list when creating/editing clients in bulk using the Excel template.
  • Define and set up visit results. (Details)
  • Define your visit schedule. You'll need to plan which visits each mobile user is assigned to. You can set up a weekly, monthly, or biweekly schedule.
  • Set up your visits calendar. (Details)
  • Create forms. (Details)
  • Download the Handy app and log in. In Android's Play Store, search for Handy Sales. Downloading the app is free.

Operation

In the mobile app

  • Access the Timeline and the Scheduled Visits screens.
  • Access the map and review its features, such as the Scheduled Clients and Unscheduled Clients filters.
  • Try out registering a visit, both one according to the plan as well as an unplanned visit.
  • Create orders, both during a visit and at a different time.

In the web portal

  • Access the Dashboard and review indicators for visits, orders, efficiency, and visit results.
  • View user activities: routes, visits, orders, etc.
  • Open the orders tab and look around.
  • Review the Product Activity report.

We know this pocess can be complicated, so don't forget that you can always send us a message in the chat if you have any questions!
