The Bot plugin allows you to create scenarios which you can adapt to a wide range of usages. You can easily build a scenario dedicated to handling requests while you are away, a scenario to automatically add a segment to email conversations, or another to ask users for information, among many other things.

Scenarios are created by adding and configuring various "blocks". When connecting these blocks, you can create a flow of actions, conditions, and events which reflect the journey you have prepared for your users.

How to change to chatbox position to the left?

Want to turn things around and display the hatbox on the left-side? Search no more, this is possible!

Here's how to proceed:

Go to the Crisp app
Click on the Settings icon from the bottom-left navigation bar
Navigate to Settings > Chatbox Settings > Chatbox Appearance
Toggle the option "Reverse the position of the chatbox (Show on the left)

How can I increase my limits & quotas?

All Crisp plans come with a set of features that let you store data for your business, eg. contacts within the Crisp CRM, or exchange information, eg. translate messages with LiveTranslate. Those features come with fair use limits, that were set to protect our systems against abuse, and at the same time they are high enough so that most of our users do not hit them.

In the event you hit one of the limit, which can either be a time-based quota limit (eg. number of translated messages per day), or a data storage limit (eg. number of contacts in your CRM), you can upgrade anytime to higher limits .

|| Note that, by default, each Crisp website runs on limits that are based on their current plan subscription. A Crisp Essentials or Plus website will have much higher default limits than a Crisp Mini website.

||| Only Crisp Essentials websites can upgrade to higher limits . If you need higher limits and you are using Free, please consider upgrading to Mini first. If you are using Mini, please consider upgrading to Essentials first. If you are using Essentials, then get higher limits by subscribing to custom limits.

How to hide the chatbox on some pages?

Crisp allows you to hide the chatbox on some pages.

Here is how to proceed:

Go to your Crisp dashboard
Head over to the Settings from the bottom-left icon
Navigate to Settings > Chatbox Settings > Chatbox Restrictions > Hide chatbox on pages
Click on the Add a blocked page button and select the countries to block

The chat will be disabled for those pages.

If you are using Crisp on a website where users are authenticated, you may want to set their email so that they don't have to specify it when they start a chat with you.

This method uses the Crisp JavaScript API, that you can call from your own code. Given that you know the authenticated user's email from your code, you'll be able to set it for the Crisp chatbox.

Here's how you would proceed to set the visitor's email:
