Creating products individually
| Having your product catalog is a very important part of the sales process in Handy.
You can load products individually or in bulk using an Excel template. This article will go over how to create products individually.
Creating products individually
In the Handy web portal, click on Products in the main menu.

Why?
📦 Converting purchase formats (boxes, bottles...) to a base unit of measurement (kilograms, litres...) is essential.
🚚 When working with different suppliers and products, it is common for purchase formats to vary, which can lead to confusion and errors in cost control, scandals and inventories.
Converting all purchase formats to a base unit, allows you to compare prices more accurately, define the quantity of product used in the scandals and control production costs.

| Your product catalog can contain as many items as there are SKUs managed by your company. To simplify the use of your product catalog, we provide you with two more options to group or filter them as needed.
Every product must belong to a product Family, but the Category is optional, and you can decide not to use it if it's of no value to you.

Select the products to be grouped. Click on the ☐ to the left of the line.

These are the pricing schemes you can work with on Handy:
List prices
The default prices, assigned to your products in the general catalog.
Price lists
Groups of special prices that you can assign to specific clients. For example: wholesale lists.
Special prices per client
These are useful if you've negotiated special prices with a client for certain products.Few readersLook up products in the mobile app
From the Main Menu, select Products to view them.
After entering, you'll see a list of existing products, organized according to the category each one belongs to.
Click on the Search to find a product, and type its name.

| Price lists are very useful if you want special prices for certain groups of clients.
To create new price lists, follow these simple steps:
Click on the "Price lists" menu to create a price list.

If you want to disable product families, click on Product family in the Main menu:
Here, you can click on "Show disabled families" to display the families you've previously disabled:
